Produced by Jim Albritton | Researchers who have dedicated their careers to studying the science of Santa are preparing for their annual worldwide news conference at the Santa Institute at the Blair E. Batson Hospital for Children at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Using the latest technology, the scientists at the Institute are working to unlock the mysteries of Santa Claus. They seek to discover how Santa visits every child on Earth in one night, how he knows if they've been naughty or nice and how his reindeer fly. In recent years they've had many breakthroughs and have developed a number of devices that are beginning to be put into every day use, including the "Naughty or Nice Detector." Findings from their latest studies will be released at a global news conference on December 3.
