Produced by Jim Albritton | Save the Chimps, the world's largest chimpanzee sanctuary, was founded in 1997 to care for USAF chimps used in the space race. Today, 254 chimps—descendants of the Air Force chimps and others rescued from use in research or entertainment—will live out their lives on 190-acres in southeast Florida.
