Fund the Beard | Dental School Raises Money for a Good Cause

Produced by Jim Albritton | Putting a new twist on “No Shave November,” the UM School of Dentistry held “Fund the Beard,” a beard growing – and shaving – competition. Students, faculty and staff – including Dean Felton – took on the scruffy look to raise money for the Poole, Perry and Farese children who lost their parents in a tragic airplane crash in August. The event raised a total of $3,143.00 for donation to the fund started on behalf of the children, Our Oxford Family Memorial Fund.
