The Great America's Cup Yacht Adventure

There are lots of ways to see San Francisco, but from the deck of an America's Cup yacht, sailing under the Golden Gate Bridge, is as good as it gets. This three-hour adventure gives passengers opportunities to participate by filling active crew roles: spinning the coffee grinders to trim the sails or even taking the helm. When I found this online, I couldn’t believe just anyone could do it. It’s one of the top thrills I’ve ever had. It's was spectacular in every way.

If you’re a transportation geek like me or just like going against the crowd whenever you can, I hope this inspires your own San Francisco journeys.
