Ghost Tours of Cedar Grove Inn in Vicksburg | Halloween 2010

Produced by Jim Albritton | Cedar Grove Inn is one of the few antebellum houses that survive the siege of Vicksburg during the Civil War. Built in 1842, many people have died in the house and its basement was used as a make-shift morgue during the war. Produced by Jim Albritton | Months of planning and days of work have transformed the Fondren neighborhood in Jackson, Mississippi back to the 1960s for the filming of the movie version of Jackson native Kathryn Stockett's novel, The Help. As area residents looked on, construction and utility crews worked side-by-side the film's production crew to recreate the look and feel of that era.
