The 5K run, float entry fees and the "City Sweep" that precedes the parade benefit Batson Children's Hospital.

Comet PanSTARRS, Stealth Bombers Spotted Over the Ross Barnett Reservoir

Newsocracy.TV cameras caught images of Comet PanSTARRS over the Ross Barnett Reservoir in central Mississippi on March 12, March 13 and March 15, 2013. Their 25,000 mile nationwide journey, sponsored by the Songs for Kids Foundation, brought them to Mississippi's only children's hospital.
