Sherlock Would Envy Medical Student's 'Mind Palace'

Produced by Jim Albritton | Alex Mullen, a second-year medical student at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, is a memory athlete. Two years ago—in an effort to improve knowledge retention—he set out to master the "mind palace" concept. With a plain deck of cards, he demonstrates the memory technique he finds useful in medical school and in competitions across the country.
