University of Alabama Car Tags Benefit Batson Hospital

Produced by Jim Albritton | Representatives from University of Alabama Alumni Associations in Mississippi presented a $71,808 check to the Blair E. Batson Hospital for Children. The check represents proceeds from UA car tags sold in Mississippi. The groups and the University of Alabama worked with the Mississippi legislature to pass a law that allows those proceeds to go directly to the hospital instead of into the state's general fund. The University and its Alumni Associations in Mississippi will present a similar check representing those specialty car tag fees each year to Mississippi's only children's hospital at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. For more information go to http://jacksonbama.com or the Blair E. Batson Hospital for Children.
